Privacy Policy for Flux Bird
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Wastech Digital (“we”, “our”, or “us”) makes the mobile game Flux Bird. This Privacy Policy explains what information Flux Bird collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By downloading or using Flux Bird, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
- You can play Flux Bird without creating a profile.
- If you join the online Rankings, we store a player name you choose, a random player ID, your country, your ranked scores and titles, and a backup (“cloud save”) of your game progress.
- We use Google AdMob for ads, Google Play for purchases, the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure our advertising, and Cloudflare to host the Rankings service.
- We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, home address or payment details.
- You can delete your profile at any time from inside the game, or by contacting us.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Rankings profile (optional)
If you choose to join the Rankings, we collect and store:
| Information | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Player name you type (3–16 characters) | Shown publicly on the worldwide and country rankings and on your player profile. |
| Player ID (a random code created by the game) | Identifies your profile. It is not linked to your real identity. |
| Country, worked out once from your internet connection (IP address) when you create your profile | Places you in your country’s rankings. We do not store your IP address or precise location. |
| Ranked scores, when they were achieved, and run duration | Calculates rankings and helps detect impossible or cheated scores. |
| Titles and title history (for example World #1, Country #1, FLUX GOAT) and how long you held them | Shown on rankings and player profiles. |
| Recovery code (we only store a scrambled, one-way version of it) | Lets you restore your profile on a new device. |
| Cloud save of game progress: coins, shields, Flux Seeds, best score, achievements, daily reward streak, and the customizations you own and use | Lets you get your progress back after reinstalling or changing phones. |
Your player name, country, scores, titles and title history are public: other players can see them. Please do not use your real name or any personal information as your player name. Player names can be changed once every 30 days.
2.2 Game progress stored on your device
Flux Bird also stores your game progress on your device (for example coins, shields, Flux Seeds, high score, unlocked items, achievements and settings). If you have a Rankings profile, a copy is backed up to our server as described above.
2.3 Information collected by third-party services
The services below are built into the game and may automatically collect information such as your device’s advertising ID, device model and operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, in-game events, crash and diagnostic information, and purchase events. Each service is described in section 4.
3. How We Use Information
- To run the Rankings, titles, FLUX GOAT record, player profiles, recovery codes and cloud save.
- To prevent cheating and protect the fairness of the rankings.
- To show advertisements and offer optional rewarded ads.
- To process in-app purchases (through Google Play).
- To measure how players find and use the game, including how well our advertising campaigns perform.
- To fix problems and improve the game.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
Google AdMob (advertising)
Flux Bird shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, device information, IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction and diagnostic data to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information in ads
Google Play Billing (purchases)
Purchases of shields and Flux Seeds are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment card or bank details; we only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed so we can give you the item.
Meta (Facebook) SDK (advertising measurement)
We use the Meta SDK to measure installs and in-game events (such as starting a run, game over, new best score, items unlocked, rewarded ads watched and titles won) so we can understand the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta SDK may collect your advertising ID, device information and these app events. Meta Privacy Policy
Cloudflare (Rankings service hosting)
Our Rankings service runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your connection (including your IP address) to deliver the service and tells us your country. Rankings data is stored in Cloudflare’s database on our behalf. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
5. Your Choices and Controls
- Rankings are optional. You can play without creating a profile.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).
- Delete your profile: see section 7.
6. Data Retention
- Your Rankings profile, scores, titles and cloud save are kept until you delete your profile.
- When you delete your profile, it is removed from our database immediately and permanently.
- Data collected by Google, Meta and Cloudflare is kept according to their own policies.
7. Deleting Your Profile and Data
In the game: open Profile → Delete my profile and confirm. This permanently deletes your player name, player ID, scores, titles, FLUX GOAT record, recovery code and cloud save. Coins and items stored on your phone stay on your phone until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
Without the game: email [email protected] with the subject “Flux Bird – delete my profile”, your player name and your recovery code. We will delete your profile within 30 days. Full instructions: wastechdigital.com/flux-bird-delete-account/
8. Data Security
Information is sent between the game and our servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Recovery codes and profile keys are stored only in a scrambled, one-way form. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
Flux Bird is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Player names are public, so players should not use their real name or personal details. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may ask for your player name and recovery code to confirm that the profile is yours.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Flux Bird after an update means you accept the revised policy.
